David Byworth
Finance Director
David joined Goodmans in 2019 with 15 years’ experience in finance and revenue under his belt from both the public and private sectors. Coming on board as Finance Manager, David graduated to Director at the start of 2022.
David’s core responsibility is ensuring Goodmans finances are robust and that the business meets all legal and regulatory requirements. This includes being our Money Laundering Reporting Officer, ensuring all the funds we receive and manage on behalf of clients are above board. As a Chartered Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), David is also our in-house tax guru, helping our Financial Planners provide expert tax advice to clients and support with filing obligations.
Outside of work, David loves to travel and is a big football fan. These days he’s switched his football boots for golf shoes, although he admits he may have to wait until retirement to actually get any good! As someone who likes to keep active, David also enjoys Muay Thai boxing, running and hitting the gym.
