Tom Clark

Tom joined Goodmans in September 2021 as a Trainee Financial Planner after a decade in the Royal Marines Commandos. Before joining us, Tom had spent two years studying in his free time for financial planning qualifications. Just four months into his role here, he was able to achieve his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. After over a year and a half of intensive mentoring from our Managing Director, Andrew Moore, Tom earned his stripes as a Financial Planner in early 2023. 

It’s no surprise that Tom’s Commando values of excellence, integrity, self-discipline, humility and cheerfulness translate well to Goodmans approach to retirement planning and long-term investment advice. Having achieved his Diploma with lightning speed, Tom is now charging towards the Advanced Diploma and, ultimately, Chartered Financial Planner status.

Tom loves to maintain his fitness, so you can usually find him at the gym or early morning runs through Saltram park before heading into the office. Outside of work, Tom also enjoys spending time with his fiancée and taking his French bulldog, Louie, for walks around Plympton Castle.
