Each summer, we invite our clients to join us for a three-course lunch at a striking venue in the South West. This year, we held our seventh and biggest client lunch yet on 21st June at Winslade Manor on the outskirts of Exeter.
Why we hold a client lunch
At Goodmans, our relationships with clients are never short-term or just transactional. We’re here, after all, to help clients maximise their returns on life, not just on their investments. Sharing similar values and aspirations, we have a lot in common with clients too, so we genuinely enjoy catching up with them.
The Goodmans client lunch is our chance to get together outside of the office and thank clients with fine food and wine in good company. It’s also an opportunity for us to share updates about the business, discuss how investment markets have fared and answer any questions.
But the focus of the day isn’t about financial planning or investment talk – it’s about celebrating our client community. This year, with around 135 clients joining us, connecting with each other and enjoying the day, it reminds us why this is our favourite date in the Goodmans calendar.
